Mansion House wedding and Dinas Powys Parish Hall photography

This was the wedding of Anna and Matt Lewis. It was a fabulous day that started in an Air B’n’B outside of Cardiff. A lovely little cottage full of character. The wedding took place in Mansion House Wedding in Cardiff and then the reception was at Dinas Powys Parish Hall. The day was great, everyone at the wedding had a great time, and I really feel it comes across in the images. If you like these pictures and are getting married in the same venue, why not get in touch today to see if I am free on your wedding day.

Would a Mansion House Wedding Suit You?

Cardiff Mansion House is a great venue for your wedding . The house is large and regal. It also has large grounds which are perfect for group shots and couples portraits as you can see in the above images. The house itself has a feeling of luxury and perfectly suits small to medium size weddings.

You can actually hold your wedding reception at this house as well, but in most cases, people tend to have their reception elsewhere. Please take a moment to have a look at the reviews on trip advisor to see what other brides and grooms have thought about getting married in this venue.

This venue is becoming more and more popular as people are recognising the spectacle mansion setting. Their exclusive package deal is nothing short of first class. This includes bucks fizz on arrival, a wedding coordinator who is on hand throughout the whole day, three-course meal with welsh fudge. For further information on the package, it is worth visiting their website. It is worth noting that their prices are reasonably competitive. They quote £4,000 based on 50 guests. Mansion House in Cardiff it steeped in local history. It was originally known as ‘Grove House’ and was the home of James Howell who famously set up the local department store. A refurbishment took place in 1998 and now is often used as a wedding venue.

Dinas Powys Parish Hall

As you can see from the above wedding, Anna and Matt decided to have their wedding reception at Dinas Powys Parish Hall.

They told me that the thing that drew them to this venue was that they could customise it exactly how they wanted to. The venue also has a large speaker system built in which is perfect for those who would rather just play their own music than have a DJ or a band. However, if you do want a DJ or a band, there is a large stage that would be a perfect place for them to perform.

Take a moment to have a look at the Parish Hall website in order to get an idea of their prices and again, feel free to look at review sites to see what others have thought about getting married at this venue.

Another Popular Wedding Venue that people often consider is the Hilton Hotel.
