Oxwich Bay wedding photography
Wales online has stated that Oxwich bay is one of the 18 Wedding venues in Swansea and the Gower that they would highly recommend. Having recently shot Sam and Gregg's wedding there I would tend to agree.
The wedding venue sits right on the cusp of the beach with a lovely view over the bay. The Marquee is perfect for weddings of various sizes, and there are plenty of places for a perfect picture.
The Oxwich Bay website mentions that they are the winners of the “Best Wedding Experience award" and indicate that their primary focus is on the quality of the service and the feel of the location.

The Wedding Day in Oxwich Bay
This wedding, in particular, started in Sams parents house. I turned up and blended in with the activities. My main aim was to try and capture natural shots of the Bride, her bridesmaids and the family all getting ready.
We then went on to St Teilos church in Bishopston to have the ceremony and finally onto Oxwich bay.
The day itself was very foggy. However, I pride myself on being able to get great pictures to come rain or shine. We headed out onto the beach and used the fog to get some lovely images with a white backdrop. I love this use of white space, and I think it worked well with me capturing the Vale blowing in the wind.
How Long am I taking pictures on the day?
I always tell couples that I am with them for roughly ten hours on the day. However, this is a minimum. I will leave when I feel I have got all the images I require of the day. I usually turn up around 10-11 to start getting bridal prep and then go for an hour or so after the first dance at the end of the night.
Something I always mention to the couples I shoot for is that after their first dance, most couples summon their guests onto the dancefloor with them for a dance. Typically people dance for a few songs before realising that they are not drunk enough and move over the bar the get a few more drinks. I typically will leave when the dance floor begins to thin.
Why choose me as your photographer at your Oxwich bay wedding?
Hopefully, you enjoy the images I have taken of Gregg and Sam. If you have and you would like your wedding pictures to be shot in a similar style, then I am your man.
I am also young and have recently got married myself. Therefore I know exactly what you guys are going through and know exactly what I wanted from my wedding photographer. I always aim to be the wedding photographer that I would like at my wedding.
If you are considering using me, then please get in touch, and we could go for a coffee to discuss your wedding plans.
