Most of you will have minimal interest in what equipment I bring with me on your Cardiff wedding day. However, I am aware that a wedding photographer is a massive investment to you, and like with many significant investments, some people will want to know more about the investment they are making.
So what’s in my camera bag?
As you can see from the above video, I bring two camera bags with me. One smaller bag with my primary camera and a spare lens, then I have a suitcase with all my other gear with me, which I leave in the car. This is so I have everything I could need within arms reach on your wedding day.
I have a host of expensive camera and lenses, which will ensure you, have the highest quality pictures.
Not only this but I bring professional flash guns and lighting stands so it means we can get well lit, high-quality images even indoors in darker environments.
Last but not least, I always bring my trusted white umbrella in case of the dreaded rain.
What camera do you own?
I have two Canon 5d Mark iii.
What if your camera breaks?
I have two!
What if your memory chip breaks?
I back up all your photos throughout the day, not to mention that these high-end cameras write to two memory chips at the same time. Just in case one ever breaks, I instantly have a backup. Your pictures are in safe hands.
NOTE: From the moment I click the shutter button there will always be at least two copies of your picture up to the point you received them as I upload to two hard drives when I get home.
