Hey guys, so this week I am going to write a blog about something very different. I am going to talk about dog photography. The reason for this is that so many people ask me if I can take pictures of their dog at their weddings.
Well, it just so happens I love dogs. I have a Cavalier King Charles called Minnie.
I know this might not seem like it has that much to do with wedding photography in Cardiff, but it will help you get to know me a little better as your photographer.
Watch a video I made on taking a better picture of your dog.
Another thing I like to do is create YouTube videos. Please have a look at this video I made with some of my top camera hacks of taking pictures of your dog. The video features my dog, Minnie.
If you have stumbled upon this blog and you have watched this video, please let me know, I would love to know your thoughts, not only on the video but whether you like knowing a little bit more about me.
Use these tips yourself.
You can also take these tips and apply them to pictures you take, even if it is on your iPhone.
Some of these tips I use when I am taking wedding photography, you will probably notice some of them now as you go through my wedding pictures.
Some of my favorite things I do use reflections to create symmetry in pictures instantly, you can see in this video, there were a few tips that all revolved around creating a mirrored image and symmetry such as the water reflection, the prism, the Perspex. I will always be looking out for things like this when I go to any shoot.
Hopefully, it will also give you an idea of my creativity as a photographer.
Get in touch.
If you guys like the look of my wedding photography and you would like me to shoot your wedding, do not hesitate to get in touch. I always recommend that we meet anyway before you make your decision, so let's meet up for a coffee some time. We can run through your wedding plans, and you can get to know me better. You never know, I might even be able to add some suggestions to your wedding arrangements as I have been to so many!
